5th Global Forum of the UN Alliance of Civilizations

In addition to participating in the conference, which took place in Vienna from 26-28 February 2013, ViA was asked by the conference organizers to co-moderate the online discussion forum on the topic of “Migration, Integration, and Mobility” in the run-up to the conference. Shortly before the event, ViA was asked to present a summary of the “Migration, Integration, and Mobility” online discussion and to moderate one of the breakout sessions at the Youth Event. The breakout sessions worked towards recommendations that were documented by the UNAOC and presented at the Global Forum to government, civil society and business leaders. ViA is excited to have had the great opportunity to exchange with other young people from around the world and the chance to contribute to the success of the conference and to having the voice of the youth heard by our leaders!
